PIERRE GAY

Throughout his career Pierre has successfully structured bespoke financing solutions for both niche and global international commodity traders in mature and emerging markets for over 20 years while working with leading Geneva based Commodity Trade Finance institutions.

Pierre was a Commodity Finance Group Head in BNP Paribas Geneva until mid 2014. He then held Managing Director positions with international Oil Trading companies for which he designed and successfully implemented the establishment of their Geneva, Switzerland, platforms, securing access to trade finance from leading international commodity Banks, in Switzerland and beyond.

Pierre is currently the Managing Director of Sigbu Finance. This company advises commodity traders on trade finance related matters. He considers itself as an enabler, bridging the cultural gap between the business DNA of the niche to medium size commodity trader and the commodity trading financiers they depend on.
